Update 3/23/20

In an effort to continue to communicate with our faithful parishioners, here are a few updates in response to Governor DeWine’s “Stay at Home” order, which becomes effective this evening (3/23) at 11:59 PM:

  • Beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, March 24, our parish office will be closed to the public.  In an effort to continue serving you, we will still have staff accepting calls at our office.

  • We will continue to Live Stream (on our website and Facebook page) our daily Masses (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8:10 AM; Wednesday 6:30 PM), as well as weekend masses (Saturday 4:00 PM and Sunday 11:00 AM).

  • We will also continue to Live Stream (on our website and Facebook page) the recitation of the Holy Rosary on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 3:00 PM and the Stations of the Cross on Fridays at 6:00 PM.

  • Our church will remain open for personal, private prayer from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM daily.

  • We will still have a bulletin, which may be accessed through our website, parish app and DiscoverMass.com.

Please utilize these ways to stay connected during this time:

As we spend more time in our homes, let us continue to reach out and check in on each other.  Let us be mindful of the less fortunate and give generously. And let us unite in prayer- connecting our hearts in a powerful and profound way- until we can be together again.

Let us look forward to that “homecoming” with joy and hope.

  1. When watching Mass, it is good to make an Act of Spiritual Communion. This is where we unite ourselves to God through prayer. It is a beautiful way to express to God our desire to be united with him when we are unable to complete that union in the reception of Holy Communion.

  2. We encourage you to make a continued effort to keep the Sabbath holy through prayer and reading the Sunday scriptures (which can be found at usccb.org).

  3. We will have the staff rosary live streamed at 3:00 PM on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays as previously planned.

  4. We will still have a bulletin, which may be accessed through our website and parish app.

Our hope and prayer is that, during this challenging time, we all feel as connected as possible, while turning in faith and trust to our loving God.

Holy Rosary

Throughout Her history, the Catholic Church has addressed epidemic/pandemic outbreaks with prayer, fasting, and charity to those affected. Join the staff of Sacred Heart Church via live stream as they pray the Rosary before the Blessed Sacrament, including Benediction, for those who are sick, afraid, and for the end of the Coronavirus. They will be praying for the next three weeks - see schedule above.
